Commission Kendall for your own unique art
Commissions are now open for pet portraits and other personalized artwork that is deeply meaningful to you. I am often asked to paint animals or scenes from nature, such as places that hold special memories, and I would love to create a unique piece just for you.
I accept a small number of commissions every year. Due to high demand, I am only accepting commission requests with a 50% deposit. This deposit is non-refundable and will be applied towards the overall cost of the commission.
All commissions are hand painted using high grade acrylics and professional artist materials so that your treasured artwork will last for many years. They are usually created from your reference photos of a beloved animal companion or natural landscape that holds special meaning for you. Although if you have ideas or specific symbolism you wish to allow me to express in my own artistic style, this can also be created, often beginning with a rough sketch and allowing for your input before painting begins. Commissioned pieces will come varnished and ready to hang, with a certificate of authenticity, guaranteeing that your painting is one of a kind.
Please be aware that every commission requires a different amount of time to complete. It is best not to rush the process, however if there is a specific deadline to be met, such as a gift for a memorial pet portrait, please be sure to communicate this and if I can accept this commission request then I will be sure to meet your deadline.
I will often create simple background, single animal pet portraits on smaller canvases (such as 6x6, 8x8, 8x10, or 9x12 inches) to help you select art that fits your needs and budget. Other sizes and more complex imagery or scenery can be discussed before committing to the commission process. My acrylic painting commissions are generally priced at $5 per square inch, with shipping costs included.
